We followed a walk from a book we found at our friend’s house which was another walk around a body of water. This time at Crombie Country Park.

There was so much tree damage. It was devestating to walk through. Because so many paths weren’t accessible we walked through bits of woodland to get around the many trees that had fallen. This off-piste activity was wonderful. A slight feeling of jeopardy. An overwhelming feeling of excitement while taking the time to enjoy the softness of the moss beneath my feet. All the time scanning the woodland floor for tracks other humans, or larger mammals, could have left and which we could follow to prevent causing further damage.
