This was interesting, and intense. And made me think and wonder. All good things. I particuarly enjoyed getting an idea of what was going on behind the scenes. Of what it’s like to be the first family. And of how on earth you adjust to that status without losing your sense of self.

I had it as an audiobook and so had Michelle Obama telling me her story. At 19 hours of content I found it to be quite a commitment with many chapters coming in around the 45 mins to an hour range. I’ve been trying to listen to a chapter at one time, and I’ve found that hard to fit into my day.

If I’d read this, rather than listened to it, I suspect it would have rated higher.
