We had a five night stay in Red Mountain as part of our big trip timed to avoid a holiday weekend in the US.

Once the Paradise lift reopened - it had been closed for technical reasons - we headed up and, as my notes put it we

found our favourite area - mini bowls - trees, fresh snow, perfect

I later wrote that the area

is graded blue and which is just spaced out trees with snow in between

and that it

started my love for fresh snow and gladed tree runs together.

We came back to it again and again throughout the trip.
