When we did our tea tasting experience in October, I picked up a tea advent calendar—and today, I got to open the first little box! Inside were two Gingerbread Chai tea bags. I turned to the Bird & Blend website for their gingerbread chai latte recipe and decided to give it a go. The result looked fantastic and tasted just as good, especially once I remembered to sprinkle a bit of cinnamon on top. Next time, though, I’ll scale down the amount of water and milk because I ended up with enough chai latte to fill a cup and a half.

Richard already had a coffee based advent calendar so of course, I had to buy Breezy one too—can’t leave her out of the fun! This morning, we had a lot of laughs trying to snap some photos of her interacting with it. She adored the treats, which were Christmas lunch bites.

To top it off, a friend gifted us a Yankee Candle advent calendar. So, as I write this, the house smells wonderfully of Christmas Cookie.

I don’t think we’ve ever had this many advent calendars in the house before, and it’s really rather lovely 🥰
