A visit to the Chelsea Physic Garden
I met up with a friend today. We considered heading to an exhibition, but she suggested the Chelsea Physic Garden instead. I’d never been before, so I was happy to give it a try. What a wonderful space. It’s not huge, but it’s packed with a wide variety of plants. We happened to arrive just in time for a guided tour led by one of the volunteers. I think each volunteer probably gives their own take on the garden, and ours was a historian, so you could definitely learn something new from each one. It was a worthwhile way to spend an hour, and I enjoyed finding out more about the history of the garden as well as some of the plants.
