A trip to Knepp
I had a day off, and I fancied a walk somewhere different. I was bought a copy of Wilding for Christmas, and after reading it, I wanted to take a look at Knepp. We arrived early, parked in the temporary car park, paid our parking contribution and headed off following the Castle Trail (purple trail). We had Skitters with us, so we kept a close eye on her but still got to see some wildlife - deers and squirrels. Partway around, Richard pointed out that bits of it seemed familiar. Turns out we’d done some of it when following a walk named “Belloc’s Mill” in this book a few years ago. An excellent place to spend some hours of a day off.
