A gorgeous afternoon at Leonardslee Gardens
I spent Friday afternoon at the beautiful Leonardslee Gardens. I’ve only been once before I think, and that was a couple of years ago for their Winter light festival. We made the most of the sunshine and walked around most of the grounds, taking in the sculptures.
Some of the sculptures are set among glorious scenery
And some are situated on their own in a group
There was an optical illusion in play as we walked past the back of these sculptures. The faces, though inverted, were still obviously faces, and they were still following me with their eyes. Most perplexing.
The back
The front
And at the end of our explore, we got to see some wallabies with their joey’s poking their heads out of their Mum’s pouches
