The last date seems to be Bonfire Night 2019. There were a few dates above these, but I couldn’t quite read them. They appeared to be from 1997 or 1999.

I don’t really approve of scratching things into the barks of living trees. But I found this intriguing. There’s a story here that I’ll never know.
