Today's walk: Ribble Valley Sculpture Trail and river walk

This was a combination of two walks found online, Ribble Valley Sculpture trail and Walks with Taste in Ribble Valley: Holmes Mill, and we could start it from our doorstep. It’s always pleasing to leave the car behind, and seeing art in natural settings always appeals to me.

This, the Ribble King kingfisher sculpture, was my favourite of the sculptures along the trail. Vibrant and fun.

I also really liked the repetitious patterns in the work by Halima Cassell.

Walking by the river is always a pleasure.
