Snowboarding

Since discovering snowboarding in January 2003 I’ve been making an annual pilgrimage in search of snow. This season we spent New Year at Serre Chevalier and a month in the US/Canada at a number of different resorts. Last season I managed 8 snowdays at 7 different resorts in Utah and 2 days at Sierra Nevada in Spain. During the 2005/06 season I managed a 10 day trip to Breckenridge, Colorado and a 5 day trip to Meribel, France over New Year. Previous trips have been to Fernie, Kimberley, Panorama and Kicking Horse, British Columbia, Canada, Morzine, France, Big White, Canada and Les Arcs, France

Cycling

Mountain biking is an easier pursuit to follow in Sussex, with the South Downs on our doorstop.  Thus far I’ve done only a third of the South Downs Way in 2 trips - Amberley to Devil’s Dyke, and Devil’s Dyke to Ditchling Beacon.

Travelling

My list of places I’d like to go to rarely becomes shorter than the list of places I’ve been to - top of the places I’d like to go to is Alaska for serious snowboarding and Japan for the culture shock
