• Today’s bake: Almond flour peanut butter cookies revisited

I baked another batch of these cookies today. This time using Pip and Nut Dark Roast peanut butter as that was what I had open. I think it made quite a big difference. It definitely made them a darker colour, and they were also easier to handle and less crumbly. Another success.

  • Things to plan in on the run up to Christmas

I’m sorting through my Evernote account planning to close it down later on in the year. Among the notes I was sorting this morning, I found this which I thought I’d publish it so I can find it when I need it as my blog is usually the first place I look for things. In recent years Christmas has been easier for me, possibly because many of these things get planned in automatically now.

    • Craft fairs with lovely people
    • The Choir with No Name Christmas show at Brighton Dome
    • An acrobatics show if the Dome has one
    • Watch Sue and Giles Good Life Christmas Cocktails (I have this as a recurring todo list item for the 23rd December)
    • Plan to spend some quality time with friends
    • Christmas gift shopping with intention and love
    • Open Christmas cards in batches so we get to appreciate them and imagine the stories that surround the pictures
    • Watch the Santa Dash
    • Visit the Royal Pavilion’s Christmas trees
    • Have some form of Christmas decorations in the garden

  • Today’s bake: Keto Cheese Muffins (with Broccoli!)

These muffins were good. Super tasty. Not too much faff (although a better mini food processor will be moving in with us soon as our current one failed to do any chopping of broccoli 😠)
